Your privacy matters. FertiFlirt handles sensitive health and personal information — and we take that seriously. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
1. Who We Are
FertiFlirt ("we," "us," or "our") is a web-based fertility tracking service that sends SMS notifications to your partner during your fertile window. We are operated by Polsia Inc. and can be reached at gotime@polsia.app.
2. What Data We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (used to create your account and log in)
- Password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we never see your plain text password)
Cycle & Health Data
- Last period date and cycle length
- Basal body temperature (BBT) readings — optional
- OPK (ovulation predictor kit) results — optional
- Cervical mucus observations — optional
Contact Information
- Your partner's phone number (for delivering SMS notifications)
Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status — we never see or store your credit card details.
Usage Data
- Pages visited and features used (for debugging and improving the product)
- SMS delivery logs (timestamp, delivery status)
- Device type and browser (via standard HTTP headers)
We do not sell your data. We do not share your health data with advertisers, employers, insurers, or any third parties except as described in this policy.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Fertility tracking: To calculate your fertile window and ovulation date based on your cycle data.
- SMS notifications: To send timed "Flirt Alert" text messages to your partner's phone number when your fertile window opens.
- Account management: To authenticate you, manage your subscription, and communicate about your account.
- Service improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us improve the product.
- Legal obligations: We may use or disclose data as required by law.
4. Third-Party Services
Twilio (SMS)
SMS messages are delivered via Twilio Inc. Your partner's phone number is transmitted to Twilio solely for the purpose of sending "Flirt Alert" messages. Twilio is bound by its own Privacy Policy. Our sending number is +1 (844) 482-8458.
Stripe (Payments)
Subscription billing is handled by Stripe Inc. Stripe processes and stores payment card information directly — we never see your full card number. Stripe's Privacy Policy governs their data practices.
Neon (Database)
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon Inc., a SOC 2-compliant cloud database provider.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:
- Service providers: Twilio (SMS), Stripe (payments), and Neon (database) as described above.
- Legal requirements: If required by a valid court order, subpoena, or applicable law.
- Business transfer: If FertiFlirt is acquired or merges, your data may transfer to the new entity under equivalent protections.
6. SMS Messaging & Consent
By entering a partner phone number and enabling SMS notifications, you confirm that:
- You have obtained consent from the phone number's owner to receive these messages.
- The recipient can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- Message frequency varies based on your fertile window (typically 1–5 messages per month).
- Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient's carrier plan.
To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message received from +1 (844) 482-8458. You can also remove the partner phone number from your dashboard at any time.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
- Your personal data and health data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- SMS delivery logs may be retained for up to 90 days for compliance purposes, then permanently deleted.
- Billing records required by law (e.g., transaction history) are retained for the legally required period.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your account settings.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: Stop SMS messages by replying STOP, or delete your partner's phone number from your account.

9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Passwords stored using bcrypt hashing (never plaintext).
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
- Database hosted in an isolated, access-controlled environment.
- JWT tokens used for session authentication with expiration.
No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at gotime@polsia.app.
10. Children's Privacy
FertiFlirt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of FertiFlirt after changes means you accept the updated policy.
